• Dear Friends I wud like to share a harrowing experience tht have gone thru with TopDog/Dr Chousalkar & Dr Kavita Kumari I took my pet Bruno to Topdog on 30th July Morning as he fell ill,he was tested and was diagnosed with Parvo Virus a life threatning Viral Infection amongst Canines He was immi isolated and treatment was started THE 1st EXPERIENCE 30th July 2026 Thursday He was given a trainee Dr Advani who cud not locate Brunos vein in 3 attempts on his right front leg then she called someone else she tried in left leg and it was done the start was shaky with a trainee doctor for a life threatning virus He was put on saline and antibiotics and other tests by Dr Chousalkar all day till 630pm and we were asked to come again next day Bill amount Rs 8000/- 31st July 2026 Friday We came in by 10 and he was again put on saline and were told by Doctor Kavita Kumari that the chances are 50/50 and we will try 1st 72 hours are very critical we was there till 630 Bill Amount Rs 6500/- 1st August Saturday We again came in by 10 and same process was repeated with his blood test BP etc with same antibiotics and injections,we were there till 5pm Bill Amount 4800/- 2nd August Sunday We were told on 1st August that the clinic is opened from 9 to 12/1230 so we shud come by then,we reached 930 and NO DOCTOR was AVLB tried calling emergency number well as usual either no one answers or a attendent/ward boy answers, the dr came in at 10 and only by 1030 the antibiotics n test started by 1230 we were told by Dr Chousalkar that hes critical and needs to be admitted and under 24 hours supervision so Vetic or Super Pets options were given we opted for Vetic Andheri and admitted him for Sat Nite Bill Amount 5000/- Plus 6500/- of Vetic whc we cleared on sunday morning 3rd August We were not happy with Vetic treatment Dr asked us to get him to TopDog we got him discharged and got him to Dr Chousalkar again test were repeated and he was put on saline by now both his front paws showed swelling so thy opted for back paw and cos he wasnt eating a pipe was inserted via his nose to his tummy, the treatment continued till 7 and then again doctor says he needs to be admitted for the night by now i lost my patience and told Dr Kavita Kumari that we are mentally exhausted even physically drained and its taking a toll on my finances here comes the SHOCKER Dr Kavita says this will happen for another 10/15 days and if u cant cope up mentally emotionally and financially then LETS PUT BRUNO DOWN i was like WT THE HELL (these kinda words and behaviour prompts relatives and pet parents to abuse or assualt the doctor)but kept our calm and decided to take Bruno home.
• Dr Kavita YOU SUCK Bill amount Rs 7800/- 4th August We we had no other option we took Bruno to Topdog at 930/945 and suddenly i observe Dr Kavita doesnt attend Bruno and some other doctor is treating him Neither Dr Kavita who treated him for good 3/4 days nor Dr Chousalkar visited Bruno once on 4th August Tuesday infact thy were happy if we take Bruno somewhere else and while clearing the bill i noticed that medicines rates were escalated whc thy ageered and revised the bill,even after paying the amount and while leaving the clinic neither Dr Kavita Kumari nor Dr Chousalkar had t he courtsey to come and talk to us or Look at Bruno Bill Amount Rs 7100/- Total bill Rs 45700/- After spending this amount there was no improvement in Brunos condition and i guess Dr Chousalkar lost his intrest thinking i did not have more financed to give him (we havent taken into account the extras like Diapers Gastro food whc were called by the staff in TopGuy) We immi admitted Bruno to Dr Bapat's Clinic Thane West and trust me guys with his love, care and treatment Bruno responded to the treatments and was Discharged in 4 days on 7th August happily wagging his tail weak but happy to be back home, we as pet parents and Bruno Own his 2nd life to Dr Chandrakant Bapat and his team, even today as i write this message Dr Chandrakant Bapat is in constant touch with me asking updates on Bruno's health and activities
