• We took our kitten to this hospital 11 days before she passed away.
• From day one, she had fluid in her abdomen, but despite this warning sign, no proper investigation or urgent action was taken.
• For the next 10 days, she was mainly given IV fluids and supportive treatment while her condition continued to worsen.
• Only when she became critically ill were tests finally performed, and we were informed that she likely had FIP.
• We arranged the antiviral medication immediately and started treatment within hours.
• Unfortunately, shortly afterward, she developed severe breathing difficulties and collapsed.
